my tummy is full!

this weekend we were busy. On saturday i got a hair cut and we had to take wrigley to the vet for a checkup.

on sunday i met mommy and daddy's friend John. he was very nice to me and i even made a few faces at him during our brunch get-together. and this is how i wound down Sunday night.

i also started doing a few new things lately.
* playing peek-a-boo, by placing my hand (kind of) over my eyes
* putting my hands up and "shrugging" and giving the "i'm not sure" look, especially when mommy asks where my nuk is.

Oh! And my 4th tooth is coming in on top! it's the 2nd one from the middle on the right side. tonight during my bath i was a little active, and bumped the fishy that covers the faucet. it really hurt my new tooth. :(

I also ate lots for supper tonight - had some of mommy's salad (pieces of pepper and hard-boiled egg), applesauce mixed with barley cereal, a tiny bit of a pouch (apples with oats and quinoa - it tastes a little like apple cinnamon oatmeal!), and then apples/mango/rice cereal! it was probably 8 oz. total. as usual, mommy hopes i'll sleep longer. i'll be sure to wake her up just to keep her on her toes. ;)

i had a day off

this weekend i had a fever of 102! it was on and off, and i didn't need tylenol all weekend. mommy and daddy still kept me home on monday. i hung out with mommy and showed her where all the goldfish really go.

then we went to the doctor. he checked me out and said my ears are a little red, but not bulging. my gums are definitely red. and my top teeth (#s 3 and 4) are on the verge of popping through! i did have a bit of a cold, so the combo of the cold and teeth is probably why i was fighting my fever for so long. i also wasn't very hungry...i liked mommy's milk, cow's milk and water, but not much in the way of solids... usually i like to eat my pouches, like the banana one i'm eating on my drive around the house. I also like to help wrigley transport her food around the house.

i've been a goofball

since my last post, i've spent a lot of time goofing off...here's some pictures to prove it :)

this weekend mommy made some yummy asparagus soup and i loved it! i also decided that cow's milk is nummy! i tried a sip of mommy's once, and she tried to give me some in an open glass. she couldn't pour it fast enough!

i'm now the only boy in my daycare group. i make sure all the girls get lovin' - i share lots of hugs and kisses. i also have to show them how strong i am. i carry all the big things around the room.

more teeth a comin'

i've been busy this week - so busy, there's no new pictures. i have a couple more teeth working their way out - the second two on top, which are numbers 6 and 7 overall. i might also be working on my first year molars, but no one can quite tell.

the past few weeks we have gone to the west side farmer's market on Saturday mornings. mommy has shared her pastry with me and i love it, nummy!

i have been starting to point a lot more, and babble about whatever i'm pointing at. 

i'm getting very good at going down stairs on my tummy. whoever's with me just has to remind me to turn around so i don't take a tumble face first!

one of my favorite things is to put a blanket over my head and walk around. it makes everyone nervous, because i run into all kinds of things! the blanket provides good cushion, though, so don't worry!

my first zoo visit!

yesterday grandma came to see me - i rested up for her and slept most of the night. mommy was very happy with me. we went to the farmer's market, and then when we got home, grandma was there!

last night i showed grandma how well i can sleep again! mommy hopes i'm starting a new trend - she needs sleep! today we went to the zoo!! it was very windy and a bit cold, but i had fun. i saw giraffes, bears, rhinos, lions, tigers, monkeys and more!

i was so excited i didn't take an afternoon nap. when we got home, mommy mowed lawn and gave me a bath. i sat in the chair with my friend scout, and was in bed by 7:30.
