cereal?

today i was a little difficult for mommy and daddy. i didn't eat very much at daycare today (6.5 oz total) and was tired. mommy fed me when we got home, and then tried to get me to sleep, but i heard daddy when he came home, and woke up - and never went back to sleep. man i turned into a bear! mommy or daddy had to hold me all night. i was kind of happy outside or walking around, but pretty grumpy for the most part.

daddy walked me around while mommy set up my highchair. then they tried to sit me in it. i told them that wasn't a very good idea. so i sat on daddy's lap and calmed down a bit. mommy tried to shove a spoon in my mouth with some of that new cereal on it! i'm not sure i like yet... but mommy wasn't sure if that was just 'cuz i was ornery to start with tonight. we'll try again another time.

after all that rigamarole, mommy laid me in my crib and i saw my fun caterpillar toy. i calmed down enough to have a bath, which i generally enjoyed. afterwards mommy got me all lotioned up and put my ointment on. once my jammies were on, though, it was a little warm. it took me a while to get mommy to realize that, and finally she laid me down and unsnapped me to take my temp. but just unsnapping was enough - that felt so good. then i was happy again - i had my pacifier and worked on rolling over. i still got stuck, but i'm getting so close!! when i had calmed down again, mommy fed me and i fell asleep...i didn't even fuss when she wrapped me up in my blanket. man, what a day!
