My First Fish Boil

last night i gave mommy and daddy a challenge - I started screaming right after they put me down for the night. i had already been asleep for a bit. they bounced me a bit, tried to feed me and changed my diaper. they finally figured out that all i wanted was some orajel on my gums!

So, because of all that fun, today we all slept in until 8 or so. it felt good! we had breakfast and then walked around Fish Creek. Mommy and Daddy went in some stores and Daddy got some chocolate. after checking out the marina by the bay, we had lunch at the Bayside Tavern.

I didn't want to stay very long, so i let mommy and daddy know. we headed back to the hotel for some r&r. mommy and i took a nap and daddy read.

after i woke up, we went to the orchard country market, across the road from our hotel.

mommy and daddy tried some cherry juices and wines. Just so you know - mommy said this proves that not everything is made better with lingonberries - syrup and ice cream, yes...but wine, no.

then we went to a fish boil at Pellitier's.

daddy said it was neat to watch them make the water boil over by throwing kerosene on the fire.

i'll have to trust him on that, as i was still napping from the car ride in :) Here is what we had to eat - i heard it was pretty yummy, but daddy wasn't a fan of picking out all the bones.

we tried to walk around a bit afterwards, but it was so windy (there were Gale warnings this evening!) and starting to sprinkle. so we came back to the hotel and got ready for bed - it was an early evening, but it was so windy, we were all tired :)
